Gebore in Durban in die sestigs, uit die aard van my Pa se beroep het ons baie rondgetrek en was bevoorreg om by \u2018n paar plekke in S.A. te bly. \n\nBegin my radio loopbaan in 1998 by die destydse Oos-Rand Sterio, daarna by Horison Sterio en laastens Punt Gesels Radio.\n\nRadio \u201cdraadloos\u201d soos my ouers dit genoem het, het van die begin af my aandag getrek. Ek kan inskakel en op \u2018n verbeeldingsreis gaan. Ek kan \u2018n prentjie begin inkleur soos die verskillende gesprekke en musiek my meevoer, en soms voel dit of ek \u2018n volmaakte skildery skilder \u2013 wat so perfek is!\n\nEk bedryf \u2018n Bemarkingsagentskap en kontrakteur vir verskeie maatskappye.\n\nMy eerste liefde bly egter radio want dit is \u2018n kragtige medium wat met verantwoordelikheid hanteer moet word. Vir baie luisteraars is dit die enigste geselskap wat hulle het.

Hier bestuur hy die PERRONFM Radio Akedemie.\u00a0

Soos die gesegde gaan, of dalk is dit Pieter Dirk Uys se woorde: \"adapt or die\" - daar het die rekenaar gogga my gebyt en dit voordat Windows op die mark gekom het.\n\nSelfs 'n program geskryf wat adresse op plakkers gedruk het. Die goeie dae van DOS.\n\nMy liefde vir musiek kom van my kinderjare af. 3 Susters wat ouer is as ek, veral my oudste suster wat 13 jaar ouer is. My ouers se liefde vir Duitse, klassieke en mars-musiek.\n\nNatuurlik het destydse Springbok Radio Treffers parade 'n groot indruk op my gemaak, s\u00f3 ook David Gresham as aanbieder. Met die musiek agtergrond is dit dus\ngeen wonder dat \"Golden Oldies\" my na aan die hart l\u00ea nie, asook Duitse musiek.\n\nBehalwe radio programme hou ek my steeds besig met rekenaar herstelwerk, die\nsagteware-kant alleen.\"
