This year, the Swartland and Western Cape Community will again play a significant role in the Acts 16 Stop the Abuse! Campaign against all forms of abuse against men, women and children. We call on all interested parties who would like to be a strong voice of influence in their communities in the Swartland and the Western Cape to join hands as we educate, inform, communicate and collaborate with all levels of society to positively influence the emotional and social landscape of the world we live in. The Swartland Municipality, various government departments, and an assortment of NGO’s, churches, schools, unions, and the local community are collaborating together on a unified Acts16 Stop the Abuse campaign on the 25th November to 15th of December. The key event will be an Awareness Walk and Family day at the Bloues Sportsfield in Malmesbury on the 30th of November from 8am to 16:00 . With this walk we are uniting two communities who will each set off from their own communities, but come together and unite at the Bloues sportsfield. Two Routes – Two Communities – One destination – One Cause – United we stand!
