Darling-based artist Nicolaas Maritz will act as show designer this year, and is tasked with reflecting the rainbow-coloured season in all its aspects. Maritz is an expert at creating interesting landscaping layouts, and has successfully designed and managed a number of local wildflower shows in the past.
"This year, I've decided to emphasise bright flower arrangements, but with a contemporary twist," says Maritz. "I am passionate about the conservation of the local Renosterveld habitat, and believe that this is a cause best promoted through positive public reaction to attractive and informative displays at the flower show."
